The Sam Moon Group, developer of MetroPark Square, a mixed-use development in Shenandoah, announced three new tenants and released updated renderings of the project in April.

According to Vice President Daniel Moon, the company is in the process of signing leases or letter of intents with the following businesses:

•A 40,000-square-foot Dave & Busters
Huynh Restaurant, a 5,000-square-foot Asian fusion restaurant
Hanabi Ramen, a 4,000-square-foot ramen and sushi eatery.

“[We are] at letter of intent with several larger chains that we cannot disclose their names at this time,” Moon said. “We should be able to release more names at the end of May.”

The newly announced tenants will be joining the development’s anchor, an AMC-10 movie theater, which is expected to open this fall.

The 69-acre development, located at the southeast corner of I-45 and Hwy. 242, will be built in three phases, each with staggered completion dates over the next three years. Construction on the first phase, which includes restaurant, retail and entertainment space, began in November 2016 and is expected to be completed by March 2018.

The additional two phases of the project will include the construction of an apartment complex, two select service hotels, multifamily living space, an office building and a full-service hotel.

The final phase of the development is projected for completion by 2020.
