The Woodlands Township announced that beginning Dec. 14, the township will host a second coronavirus testing site through a partnership with Curative Inc. to provide rapid testing for area residents.

According to a press release from the township, the second location will be located at Sterling Ridge Park and Ride at 8001 McBeth Way, The Woodlands. The site will operate through Jan. 31, 2021. It will be a self-serve, drive-thru operation open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. daily.

Hours will vary for the remaining holidays through the end of the year, which are as follows.
  • Christmas Eve: Thursday, Dec. 24: 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
  • Christmas Day: Friday, Dec. 25: closed
  • New Years’ Eve: Thursday, Dec. 31: 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (normal hours)
  • New Year’s Day: Friday, Jan. 1, 2021: 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (normal hours)
Testing is also available at The Woodlands Township Town Hall, 2801 Technology Forest Blvd., The Woodlands, at no cost to the patient, though customers will be asked to submit their insurance information when scheduling a test.

The Woodlands Township has worked with Curative to offer free coronavirus testing before.
