Montgomery County residents may still register for COVID-19 testing at any of three sites countywide.
One of the participating sites, America's ER's drive-thru location at WoodsEdge Church, relocated from the church to its own facility at 32784 FM 2978, Magnolia, June 5, according to the Montgomery County Public Health District. America's ER and Woodlands Functional Family Medicine remain open to testing for both symptomatic and asymptomatic residents, while the Lone Star Family Health Center is open to symptomatic residents only.
The county call center at 936-523-5040 remains open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for residents interested in obtaining a free test. Residents are limited to one testing voucher apiece, and must register for a testing appointment at their site of choice.

The Montgomery County Public Health Department announced the addition of a third COVID-19 testing site to its countywide test voucher program May 18.
The new site, Woodlands Functional Family Medicine at 8000 McBeth Way, Ste. 190, The Woodlands, joins America's ER's drive-thru site at Woods Edge Church in Spring and the Lone Star Family Health Center in Conroe as participants in the county program. The Woodlands site is open to both symptomatic and asymptomatic residents who register for a voucher with the county. Both The Woodlands and Conroe locations require an appointment for testing, the health district said.
Test vouchers remain available for any residents who contact the county COVID-19 call center at 936-523-5040 on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Vouchers must be used within five days of registration, and residents are limited to one voucher apiece.

Montgomery County's voucher-based COVID-19 testing program is set to begin May 13, the county public health district and hospital district announced May 12.
The service is available for all county residents through two clinics in Conroe and northern Spring. Residents wishing to be tested may register for single swab test vouchers by calling the county's COVID-19 call center at 936-523-5040 on weekdays between 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Testing will be conducted at America’s ER drive-thru site at Woods Edge Community Church, located at 25333 Gosling Road, Spring, and the Lone Star Family Health Center at 605 S. Conroe Medical Drive, Conroe. The program is open for all symptomatic and asymptomatic county residents, although only America's ER will accept vouchers from those without symptoms.
Residents will be limited to one voucher each, and tests will be available as long as supplies last, according to the health department and hospital district.
The voucher program's launch comes two weeks after each county health organization approved the purchase of 6,120 swab tests, with funding provided through the federal coronavirus relief bill. The more than 12,000 tests will be used based on resident demand, and the county may hold back some tests in case of possible future COVID-19 case spikes, Montgomery County Hospital District CEO Randy Johnson said at the district's April 28 board meeting. The county had previously experienced difficulty acquiring tests needed to provide for large-scale, free testing, county officials said.
According to the Montgomery County Public Health District, 742 COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in the county as of May 12 including 468 active cases and 17 deaths. Based on information from the Texas Department of State Health Services, 8,416 COVID-19 tests had been performed at public and private labs in Montgomery County as of May 10.
