The 16th annual Wine and Food Week event in The Woodlands has been postponed indefinitely due to coronavirus.

Constance McDerby, co-founder of Wine and Food Week, said many of the smaller events will still occur and are anticipated to be announced in the near future.

"Unfortunately, we won’t be holding the Wine Rendezvous Grand Tasting & Chef Showcase until 2021," McDerby said. "We are awaiting Governor Abbot’s further back-to-work announcements in the next few weeks and will be issuing updates at that point."

Current tickets that have been purchased will still be honored when the event is rescheduled. However, McDerby said guests will have to apply with changes that follow Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines, including limited attendance per event and health protocols.

Additional information will be posted on Wine and Food Week's Facebook and website when it becomes available.
