The Memorial Hermann Ironman Texas North American Championship returns to The Woodlands this Saturday, April 22, and with it comes an influx of visitors and road closures. The triathlon features a 2.4-mile swim in Lake Woodlands, a 112-mile bike route and ends with a 26.2-mile run in The Woodlands. However, this year’s race will feature a new bike route on the Hardy Toll Road. Roads and several intersections will see some lane closures and delays due to the event from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m for both the bike and run portions of the race.
