After about two months of expansion work in early 2023, outdoor adventure course Texas TreeVentures announced its reopening March 10 at 6464 Creekside Forest Drive, The Woodlands.

Since it opened in April 2019, the facility has seen about 50,000 participants use the outdoor elements, which include aerial obstacle courses with platforms, bridges and cable. The expanded facility includes 24 new features, bringing the total to nearly 100 throughout the course, according to a news release. One of the new elements is a multilevel course.

Facility users must meet certain requirements, such as weighing between 44-275 pounds, being at least 6 years old and having active adult supervision for children between 6-12 years old, according to the release.

“This is a place where all ages can experience the great outdoors,” said Ann Snyder, chair of The Woodlands Township's board of directors, in the release. “This is a truly exceptional attraction enjoyed by our residents and visitors, an attraction very unique to our region in Texas. This is a great example of how fortunate we are to live in such a special place to create unique offerings for our residents and visitors. I would like to acknowledge and thank all those responsible for making this great facility happen.”

In addition to the expanded course, Texas TreeVentures plans upcoming events such as “Lights, Heights & Bites" featuring sno-cones April 14 and May 12 and “Glow in the Park," a nighttime climb March 24, April 28 and May 26.
