According to a news release, ANCS will offer the IB Diploma Programme for 11th and 12th grade students beginning in the fall. The school will also award a limited number of merit scholarships to students entering the program in the fall.

IB World Schools offer a student-centered, interdisciplinary education, according to the organization’s website. The Diploma Programme is designed for students ages 16-19.

“Since its founding seven years ago, becoming an IB World School has been a core part of our vision,” Head of School Christina Callaway said in the release. “As a former IB teacher and coordinator, I’ve seen how the IB programs shape students into critical thinkers and compassionate leaders.”
