A June 12 news release from Othram, a forensic technology company based in The Woodlands, announced several additions to its leadership team as well as new software to aid its work in identifying human remains and resolving missing persons cases.

The details

Othram announced that Richard Price has joined the company as its chief commercial officer; Danny Hall is assuming the role of senior director for commercial operations for North America; and Nicola Oldroyd Clark has been retained as a senior adviser to support international expansion.

In addition, Andrew Singer, a key member of Othram’s leadership team for the past three years, has been appointed vice president of law enforcement services.

What else?

Per the release, the company's new AI-powered software was developed in-house for Othram's genomic services to allow other laboratories, agencies and partners to use the same capabilities.

“To truly deliver on our mission to empower forensics and justice for all, we need to make the capabilities we’ve developed accessible to others,” Othram CEO David Mittelman said. “By expanding what laboratories can analyze and the types of investigations they can support, we can increase the number of cases solved and bring more answers to those who need them most.”
