WOW! Wonders of The Woodlands Science Camp celebrates 30 years teaching science

The impact

“I think that we have impacted the community in a very positive way," WOW! Science Camp Director Barbara Cargill said. "We have helped work alongside our hard-working teachers in the community to bring excitement and wonder to children about science and about nature, and just about the God-given wonders that we're surrounded by."

Over the years, WOW! Wonders of The Woodlands Science Camp has expanded its science curriculum to evolve with technology and new scientific discoveries. Cargill said she believes the science camp inspires students to go into science occupations. Cargill said many WOW! Wonders of The Woodlands Science Camp former student campers are now teachers at the camp.
