According to a ​​Dec. 20 Howard Hughes news release, Waste Connections is expanding its business with a new regional office located at Hughes Landing. The office space will occupy an additional 27,390 square feet at Three Hughes Landing. According to the release, Waste Connections has been located in The Woodlands since 2016. Closing on the new lease took place in November, according to Howard Hughes.

Waste Connections is a North American company that provides waste services such as waste collection, transfer, disposal and recycling services, primarily of solid waste. The waste company serves customers in the U.S. and Canada.

“After enjoying The Woodlands for the last seven years, there was never any question of leaving,” said Jason Craft, vice president of Waste Management's Southern Region.
