Era Pickleball opened June 17 at 295 Sawdust Road, Spring, offering eight indoor courts.

Founders Nikki and Christian Tejada said the first phase of the facility includes the 23,000-square-foot space with eight indoor courts featuring outdoor surfacing. Two of the courts include the cushion master system to reduce the impact on joints, Nikki Tejada said. The location also features acoustic panels for sound suppression, she said.

The venue includes a pro shop; a lounge with games, such as table tennis; and a second-level mezzanine as well as a smoothie shop. Era Pickleball offers three membership levels as well as options for guests, and a membership is not needed to play.
