Wine and culinary tastemakers will be returning to The Woodlands this June to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Wine and Food Week.
Scheduled for June 3-9, this year’s event will feature over 75 chefs, including Houston icon and first American Master Sommelier Guy Stout, and hundreds of selections of wine. Attendees can also meet Tim Hanni, an internationally renowned “flavor maven” and one of the first two Americans to pass the examination to earn the title master of wine.
"Fifteen" will be the theme for the week, with guests able to experience “15 Gadgets that Changed the Wine Industry,” “15 Winemakers to Watch,” “15 Fresh Faces,” “15 Wines to Drink Now” and “15 Wine and Food Pairings,” among other special events.
The weeklong event will also benefit local charities on an annual basis. This year, Wine and Food Week will benefit New Danville, an integrated community where adults with intellectual and development disabilities can live, learn, work and grow with their peers; The John Cooper School’s Signature Author Series, which assists with literacy efforts in Montgomery County; and The Woodlands Art Council, whose mission is to provide regional cultural and educational enrichment through community events.
