A new Italian eatery, Avanti Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar, opened its doors Dec. 30 in Creekside Park. The restaurant launched under the Orioli family, owners of The Woodlands' Via Emilia on Kuykendahl Road. Avanti is located at 8540 Creekside Forest Drive, Ste. C-100, and features a mix of traditional and modern Italian offerings including dishes such as frutti di mare, grilled Mediterranean bass and braised short rib. Harris County officials unveil new three-year $8.93M community-initiated mental health care initiative

The community care model will focus on 10 ZIP codes totaling about 300,000 residents that have been disproportionately affected by COVID-19 and suicide, and that have a lower utilization of behavioral health care services, by providing mental health education and training to members of the community.
