Construction crews began street repairs on Scanlin Road between Columbia Blue Drive and Staffordshire Road on April 1, according to a Missouri City news release.

The city estimates the repairs will take approximately two weeks, pending weather-related delays.

The release said detour routes are in place and that motorists may experience delays in the area. Additionally, flaggers will be controlling traffic, and drivers are advised to exercise caution.

The detour outlined in the news release will take traffic on Columbia Blue Drive to Independence Boulevard and back to Staffordshire Road.
