Fewer homes were sold in Sugar Land- and Missouri City-area ZIP codes in March compared to last March, with 226 homes sold versus 256. However, more homes sold than last month in February, when 193 homes sold across five local ZIP codes.
Four of five local ZIP codes saw fewer home sales year over year, with ZIP code 77459 seeing more than a 29% decrease in that time period. However, ZIP code 77489 saw a 91.3% increase year over year.The median home sales price rose in three of five local ZIP codes year over year. The largest spike was in ZIP code 77489, which saw a more than 17% increase. Additionally, homes in the $250,000 to $449,999 price range were sold most in March.Meanwhile, the average number of days homes spent on the market decreased in all five local ZIP codes, signaling faster home sales.
