More homes were sold in Sugar Land- and Missouri City-area ZIP codes in February compared to last February, with 193 homes sold versus 185. It's also more than last month, which saw 171 homes sold.

Three of five local ZIP codes saw more home sales, with ZIP code 77479 seeing more than a 40% increase year over year. The most homes were sold in ZIP code 77459 with 71 homes, but it declined 17.4% year over year in the ZIP code.The median home sales price rose in all five local ZIP codes year over year. The largest spike was in ZIP code 77498, which saw a more than 26% increase.

Additionally, homes in the $450,000 to $649,999 price range were sold most in February.Meanwhile, the average number of days homes spent on the market decreased in three of five local ZIP codes.
