Fort Bend Junior Service League, a women-led philanthropic organization, is celebrating 25 years of giving back to the county.

Since its inception in 2001, the organization has raised over $6 million to support over 100 Fort Bend County nonprofits through various service projects and fundraisers, according to a June 13 news release.

The organization is best known for its Sugar Plum Market, which features various holiday vendors, each November, according to its website.

The organization has opened membership applications for the 2025-26 year, per the release. The group is open to women over the age of 21, who must attend required monthly meetings, complete volunteer hours and projects, and pay annual dues, according to its website.

“As we celebrate 25 years of impact, we are just as excited about the future as we are proud of our past,” Director of New Members NaTasha Vaughn said in the release. “FBJSL is not just a place to volunteer. It is a place to grow, lead, and build lifelong friendships. There is a place for you here.”
