Located in the Sienna master-planned community at 9612 Hwy 6., Unit 160, Missouri City, Kolache Factory had its soft opening May 31, according to a May 31 news release.
The opening comes as the cafe will have a June 3 ribbon-cutting at 10 a.m. with Missouri City Mayor Robin Elackatt along with six council members, according to the release. On June 11 from 6 a.m.-2 p.m., store owner Bee Vines will host a grand opening celebration featuring prizes, free kolaches, and gourmet Katz coffee.
The new location marks the second Kolache Factory that Vines owns after she arrived in Texas from Singapore more than 20 years ago, according to the release.
“My kids loved Kolache Factory, and we would always go there for an after-school snack,” Vines said in the release. “I tried it and loved it too and decided maybe I should open one myself, so I did! This is the best of both worlds for me. I still get to spend time with my boys but also build a business of my own. We were able to be successful with our first store through the pandemic and we are just so excited to open the second store!”
