The Fort Bend County Missouri City Branch Library has been temporarily closed.

The library, 1530 Texas Parkway, Missouri City, is closed as the building undergoes repairs to its heating, ventilation and air conditioning system, the county announced in an April 28 news release. In the meantime, the public is encouraged to visit the Mamie George Branch or Sugar Land Branch locations until the repair is completed, according to the release. In addition, the Sienna Branch Library also remains open.

At this time, no date is set for when the repair will be completed, the library said to Community Impact Newspaper. 281-238-2100. www.fortbend.lib.tx.us/about-us/location-hours-map/missouri-city
