The market, located at 5855 Sienna Springs Way, Missouri City, is open every Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
"Over the course of the last year, we've had more than 15,000 patrons come through and allowed more than 70 small businesses the opportunity to showcase their products," Thomasine Johnson, the co-founder of Farmers Market Partners and a Missouri City resident, said in a press release. "The market has helped us build a real sense of community centered around food, fun and fellowship."
Additionally, the market has donated produce to the fire department and partnered with area nonprofits.
While the market temporarily closed because of the coronavirus pandemic, it has reopened and been modified to keep customers, vendors and staff safe, the release said.
