Sugar Land's Pier 1 Imports to remain open amid companywide closures

Sugar Land’s Pier 1 Imports located at 2521 Town Center Blvd. N., Sugar Land, will remain open, according to a store employee. In early January, Pier 1 Imports announced that it would be closing up to 450 locations and several distribution centers, as well as reducing the number employees at its corporate offices in Fort Worth. The Sugar Land location said it was continuing to have good sales. 281-277-4747. www.pier1.com
