Missouri City City Council unanimously approved a resolution—estimated to cost the city about $3,000—to change the road’s name to Henry Watts Road at a Jan. 20 meeting. The money will fund road sign changes at 13 intersections down the road, according to agenda documents.
The name change will affect 90 parcels, per agenda documents, including:
- About 10 residential properties
- Two religious properties
- One apartment complex
- One city facility
