The details
According to an Oct. 17 Facebook post, the 15-question-long comprehensive plan survey allows residents to provide input on:
- The feasibility of mixed-use developments
- Concerns about major corridors
- What businesses they would like to see
- Landscaping, lighting and signage regulations
- Future city development
The background
The update, which kicked off in June 2024, will provide direction on undeveloped land, redevelopment areas and 10 focus areas, Community Impact reported.
The city’s comprehensive master plan was completed in 1971, and the most updated version of the plan was adopted in 2017, according to the comprehensive plan update website.
Going forward
The survey will be open through the end of October, Director of Development Services Jennifer Thomas Gomez said.
