What’s happening?
The city’s first-ever restaurant week will run from June 15-21, where participating eateries will offer special menus, said Eli Washington, economic development manager for Missouri City. The week aims to support local businesses, which some residents might not have visited before.
The event is hosted by the city’s Small Business Advisory Committee, which was founded by council member Lynn Clouser in March 2021 after she said she saw multiple local businesses close during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Each restaurant will provide a special menu—priced at $15, $25 or $35—available only during that week, Washington said. Dine-in and take out options vary by restaurant.
Participating restaurants include:
- Off the Vine Tasting Room
- Latin Delight
- Tea’ze Daiquiri Lounge
- Johnny Tamales
- Ramble Creek Grill
- Chicken Salad Chick
What else?
Before restaurant week begins, city officials will host the inaugural Taste of Missouri City event June 14 from 4-8 p.m. at the City Hall Complex, located at 1522 Texas Parkway, event Chair Christopher Cerda said.
The free, family-friendly event will bring together 23 restaurants, food trucks and catering companies, who will offer tastings and offer additional items for purchase, he said.
