Fort Bend County Christmas Tree Lighting
Fort Bend County officials will host the county’s annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony at the Historic Fort Bend County Courthouse rotunda. The event will feature appearances by County Judge KP George and County Attorney Bridgette Smith Lawson along with refreshments and desserts, according to a Nov. 24 news release.

Sugar Land officials invite the public to light the city’s Christmas tree in Sugar Land Town Square featuring local performances, an 8-foot snow slide and photo opportunities, including a visit from Santa.
The event will feature free admission and parking, although food and beverages are available at an additional cost, according to the city's website. Shuttles will be provided from Mercer Stadium from 4:30-9:30 p.m.

Missouri City residents are invited to join city officials at the city’s SnowFest Festival and Christmas tree lighting at City Hall Complex featuring a holiday market, entertainment, games and carnival rides, a giant snowhill, photos with Santa and a firework display, according to the city’s website. Admission is free, although there are opportunities for additional purchases.
Ahead of the festival, the city will also host the SnowFest Shuffle, a one-mile fun run beginning and ending at the Missouri City Rec and Tennis Center. Participants can pre-register online with a toy donation required in lieu of a registration fee. Additionally, the SnowFest Parade will kick off at 9 a.m. on Cartwright Road.
