Oktoberfest 2024

Talyard Brewing Co. invites Sugar Land residents to the new space to celebrate German culture and cuisine at this three-day event. Attendees are encouraged to dress in festive attire and enjoy music, games and German food and drinks, including pretzels, bratwurst and traditional beer steins.

Missouri City Fall Festival

Missouri City Chamber of Commerce hosts this annual event at Hunters Glen Park. The all-ages event will bring together local businesses and feature food, a live DJ, local vendors, an arts display, coloring and baking contests, a sack race and a chili cook-off.Day of the Dead Half Marathon

This 13.1-mile race through Brazos River Park features a costume contest, face painting and a post-race celebration.Trunk or Treat Sugar Land




This annual event at Houston Swim Club’s Sugar Land location invites families to dress up in Halloween costumes. It will have a bounce house, live music, candies and treats, games, donuts and coffee.

Houston Filipino Street Festival

This cultural celebration at Constellation Field will showcase traditional Filipino food, music, art and dancing. Parking is free.

Music on the Square

"Earth, Wind & Fire" tribute band “Let’s Groove Tonight” takes over the plaza at Sugar Land Town Square for an evening of iconic music. The performance includes live instrumentation and costume changes.Disability Resource Fair

This annual event takes place at Clements High School and features games, crafts and activities for children with disabilities between ages 5-13. While kids play, parents may visit the resource fair to learn about disability-related services and programs in the area.Ali Siddiq: “I Got A Story To Tell”




Comedian and Houston native Ali Siddiq performs stand-up at the Smart Financial Centre. Siddiq has appeared on HBO’s “Def Comedy Jam" and Comedy Central’s “This is Not Happening.”
