What’s on the ballot?
Local races include Sugar Land City Council and mayor races, a city charter proposition, and Fort Bend ISD board of trustees races.
Community Impact asked candidates of the following races to participate in questionnaires:
- FBISD board of trustees, Position 3
- FBISD board of trustees, Position 7
- Sugar Land mayor
- Sugar Land City Council, At-Large Position 1
- Sugar Land City Council, At-Large Position 2
- Sugar Land City Council, District 2
- Sugar Land City Council, District 4
Where to vote
According to the Fort Bend County website, registered voters in the county can cast their ballot at one of 26 countywide early voting locations from April 22-29. The hours of operation for these locations are:
- April 22-25 from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
- April 26 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
- April 28-29 from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
Looking ahead
Election day is Saturday, May 3, from 7 a.m.-7 p.m., according to the Texas Secretary of State’s website.
