Missouri City City Council has four council seats up for election this fall.

The candidate filing deadline for the Nov. 5 election closed Aug. 19, although the deadlines for the candidate write-in period is Aug. 23, according to the Texas Secretary of State’s website.

According to the city’s website, here’s who filed applications for the positions:

City Council District A
  • Monica Riley, incumbent
  • Steven McKinney
  • Bruce Zaborowski
City Council District B
  • Jeffrey L. Boney, incumbent
City Council District C
  • Mu Liu
  • Feven Gebremariam
  • Joanna Ouderkirk
  • Shad Bogany
