Fort Bend ISD announced in a news release on April 24 that graduation ceremonies will be held July 19-21. All ceremonies will take place at the Smart Financial Centre in Sugar Land.

The district had previously announced that graduation would not take place at the end of May as originally scheduled due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Below are the dates and times for the commencement ceremonies by high school.

Sunday, July 19

Clements High School, 1 p.m.



Austin High School, 4:30 p.m.

Ridge Point High School, 8 p.m.

Monday, July 20

Hightower High School, 9:30 a.m.


Bush High School, 1 p.m.

Elkins High School, 4:30 p.m.


Dulles High School, 8 p.m.

Tuesday, July 21


Marshall High School, 9:30 a.m.

Kempner High School, 1 p.m.

Travis High School, 4:30 p.m.

Willowridge High School, 8 p.m.


The district has said if large gatherings are still not considered safe come July, it will host a virtual graduation at that time.

FBISD said it will confer degrees on May 28, the last day of school, so graduating seniors have them for their post-secondary institutions.
