Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers could open in the mixed-use Fort Bend Town Center development in Missouri City.

What we know

The national burger chain is expected to be under construction from June through December, according to project information from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

Representatives with Freddy's and NewQuest—the developer of Fort Bend Town Center—didn't respond to requests for comment by press time. However, the registration details show will cost $1.6 million to build the 2,800-square-foot eatery in Missouri City.

On the menu


Freddy's, a fast-casual restaurant, serves made-to-order burgers and beef hot dogs, according to its website. The menu also includes fish and chicken sandwiches, patty melts, french fries, onion rings, shakes and ice cream sundaes.
