What's in a name?

Named after the Wat Arun Temple of Dawn in Thailand, the restaurant is fully halal and offers authentic Thai cuisine, said Krobpratumma.

Dishes include salmon panang curry, fried rice, shrimp tempura and sticky rice with mango, according to its menu posted on Instagram. Arun Thai Kitchen does not serve alcohol, but does provide a bring-your-own-bottle option, the owner said.

The restaurant has a sister concept called Morningside Thai located near the Texas Medical Center, said the owner.
