Brazilian steakhouse Fogo de Chão could open a new location in Sugar Land Town Square.

The details

The restaurant company filed the Sugar Land project with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation on Dec. 2. Filing information shows construction is estimated to begin in January and wrap up in August 2025.

Fogo de Chão will replace the space formerly occupied by the Department of Wonder, which closed last December. Renovations to the space are estimated to cost $1.8 million, according to the TDLR filing.
