Los Mayitos, a Hispanic-inspired seafood and wings restaurant, is set to take the place of Kim Son in Stafford, restaurant officials confirmed.

According to its Facebook, signage for the Stafford location of Los Mayitos Mariscos and Wings went up in early March.

The eatery, which offers Mexican cuisine, seafood boils and wing combos, is set to open in mid-April.

On the menu

Mariscos fries, a shareable dish composed of cheese-smothered fries topped with crab, shrimp and crawfish, is one of the appetizer options at Los Mayitos.


In addition to rice dishes, seafood platters and desserts, the restaurant also offers an extensive cocktail menu—featuring double shot craft drinks, micheladas, shots and agua frescas.

Los Mayitos has one other location in north Houston on Little York Road, east of I-45. At night, the restaurant transforms into a live music venue with a DJ.
