After more than 25 years of service in Stafford, Vietnamese restaurant Kim Son will close its doors permanently at the end of September.

Officials cite doubled rent prices as the reason for its closing. Its menu featured dim sum and traditional Vietnamese dishes, such as beef gai-lan, wonton soup and Cornish hen with sweet rice. The restaurant is also known for its use as a wedding and banquet venue as well as its catering services.
The restaurant will still operate out of its Bellaire and East Downtown locations.
