Nayaab, an Indo-Pak restaurant, opened at 16100 Kensington Drive, Ste. 400, Sugar Land, on Sept. 21. Nayaab offers dine-in and catering services. The restaurant is in the space where Hyderabad Biryani Hut was previously located. Nayaab does not yet have a website. 713-234-7242

Chick’nCone plans to open its second Houston-area location in Sugar Land Town Square toward the end of this year or in the beginning of next year. The New York City-based restaurant is known for its fork-free spin on chicken and waffles. The new Chick’nCone will be located at 2268 Texas Drive and will feature an outdoor patio. The first Houston-area Chick’nCone opened in the Heights in early 2020. www.chickncone.com

Red Circle Ice Cream is opening a franchise location at 3595 Hwy. 6, Sugar Land, in mid- to late October. Red Circle’s menu features 100-plus rotating flavors of handcrafted ice cream as well as sorbet, ice cream-filled macarons, churros, bubble teas and Thai teas.
