Missouri City is putting the finishing touches on the La Quinta Golf Course as it prepares for opening, said Sergio Salazar, general manager of Quail Valley Golf Club, in a Feb. 12 Facebook post.
The details
Salazar said employees are working on the final “punchlist” items, including finishing up bathrooms and slowly filling up lake levels. The work—which will cost $250,000 and alleviate all flooding issues—will be fully paid for by First Tee, a program where kids can learn life skills through golf.
Employees are also resurfacing and building new putting greens, as well as repairing the chipping area.
