Fort Bend County Health and Human Services reported 44 additional cases of the coronavirus during the June 13-15 weekend, bringing the county total to 2,402.

Due to a few days last week with high numbers of new cases, the seven-day daily average for new cases is approximately 38.

Of the total coronavirus cases countywide, 1,015, or 42%, have recovered, according to county data.

Between June 12-15, the county also reported two Fort Bend County residents died from the coronavirus. These were the county’s 48th and 49th coronavirus-related deaths.

Hospitalizations from the coronavirus are down since last week. There are now 13 people in the county hospitalized with the virus.

As of 2 p.m. June 15, the county had not updated its maps that show in which cities and ZIP codes coronavirus cases are located. The charts below show the most recent information by geographical area available.
