Two H-E-B locations in Sugar Land and Missouri City are reporting a confirmed case of the coronavirus among their employees, according to information posted on the grocer’s website.

The grocery store chain said all employees directly affected by the cases have been contacted, and the stores have been deep-cleaned and sanitized.

The Sugar Land and Missouri City locations reporting cases are as follows.

  • Sugar Land Market H-E-B, 530 Hwy. 6, Sugar Land. The employee who tested positive for coronavirus was last in the store March 27.

  • Lake Colony H-E-B, 4724 Hwy. 6, Missouri City. The employee who tested positive for coronavirus was last in the store March 30.

As COVID-19 continues to impact communities around the world, our H-E-B family of more than 120,000 Partners has not gone unaffected,” a statement posted to H-E-B’s website reads. “All directly affected Partners at the location have been notified, and the store has been deep-cleaned and sanitized multiple times since then, and we continue to enforce proper social distancing practices. While the pandemic is an evolving situation with many unknowns, we are sure of one thing: We will do our part to help our fellow Texans in any situation our company and communities might face.”

Customers can visit a H-E-B store’s website to find out if any employees at that location have tested positive for the coronavirus.
