UT Physicians opens coronavirus testing location in Missouri City

UT Physicians Multispecialty—Sienna is now offering drive-thru testing for the coronavirus in Missouri City, according to a April 2 news release by UT Physicians.

In order to receive testing at this location, individuals need to have an order from their health care provider and call 713-486-2619 to schedule an appointment.

According to the release, UT Physicians will not charge for the test, but lab facilities may have fees. It may take up to five days to receive test results, the release states.

“Since COVID-19 emerged as a public health threat, we have been on the front lines, screening all patients who visit our clinics,” said Andrew Casas, chief operating officer of UT Physicians and senior vice president of UTHealth, in the release. “We are pleased to add testing services as we continue to provide exceptional care and do our part to minimize the spread of COVID-19.”

UT Physicians Multispecialty—Sienna is located at 8810 Hwy. 6, Ste. 100, Missouri City.

UT Physicians, which is a part of The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, has one other testing location at 7364 Antoine Drive, Houston. As the health care provider receives more kits and other supplies, it will open additional testing sites, according to the release.
