About the owners

Flores founded the restaurant with her husband, Abram. Her parents co-owned La Ideal Bakery at 3310 1st St., Ste. F, Rosenberg, for 25 years and helped the couple get started.

As a former educator, she said she hopes the restaurant becomes a community gathering space with plans to host financial aid nights and Mother Goose reading sessions for students.

“Our hope is always for it to become a community hub,” she said.
”Somewhere people can come, get some good food, but also meet with family and friends.”
