A closer look

The Stafford Kirkwood Road store will be the 159th location in the state and is part of the company’s initiative to open more than 300 new stores over the next decade.

“In adding stores, we’re not just making it easier to discover the Target store experience ... we’re adding horsepower to the engine for our digital business,” said Michael Fiddelke, executive vice president and chief operating officer. “Our stores are the fulfillment power plant behind Drive Up, same-day delivery via Target Circle 360 and fast brown-box shipping for those times when a guest’s shopping mission isn’t an in-store trip.”

The store will be open Sunday-Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., per the release.
