The city of Sugar Land has launched free ticket reservations for its 2026 FIFA World Cup viewing parties at Sugar Land Town Square.
What you need to know
The eight parties are a part of the city's role as an official Host City Supporter as the city of Houston hosts seven 2026 FIFA World Cup matches in June and July.
The events will take place at 2711 Plaza Drive and will feature an outdoor viewing screen, international food vendors and family-friendly activities.
Watch party dates include:
- June 11, 2 p.m. featuring Mexico vs. South Africa
- June 12, 8 p.m. featuring USA vs. Paraguay
- June 13, 5 p.m. featuring Brazil vs. Morocco
- June 17, 6 p.m. featuring Ghana vs. Panama
- June 19, 2 p.m. featuring USA vs. Australia
- June 19, 8 p.m. featuring Brazil vs. Haiti
- June 27, 6 p.m. featuring Columbia vs. Portugal
- July 19, 2 p.m. featuring the final match
"These events will bring the community and visitors together in a vibrant, family-friendly setting to watch matches, celebrate the world’s game and enjoy the energy of the tournament right here in Sugar Land,” said Alison Brooks, assistant director for Sugar Land Office of Economic Development & Tourism.

In addition to watch parties, the city will also host several other activities to promote the World Cup as part of its $2.5 million sponsorship with the Houston 2026 World Cup Host Committee.
The partnership will give the city exclusive benefits, including FIFA branding rights and the ability to host official watch parties.

Passport to Play: National Travel & Tourism Week
The passport scavenger hunt at Fort Bend Children’s Discovery Center will also offer a design-your-own postcard station, transportation science experiments and a cardboard landmark challenge.

Guests can enjoy themed giveaways, youth programming, special appearances and interactive moments with the Sugar Land Space Cowboys.

Let’s Play Party
Children can test their footwork on an agility-training course, use a pulse oximeter and participate in UV bracelet demos to learn how to stay sun-safe outdoors.

Global Goal Party
The event aims to celebrate the countries competing in Houston with dance performances, a parade of nations, trivia challenges and musical instrument-making workshops.
