Multiple closures will take place along Beltway 8 and I-45 from Aug. 2-5 for bridge repairs, the Texas Department of Transportation Houston District announced in an Aug. 1 news release.

According to the release, the work is an extension of repairs for a $2.8 million project to restore parts of I-45 from Loop 610 to Cypresswood Drive.

The closures are as follows:
  • Beltway 8 North eastbound connector ramp to I-45 northbound: total closure from 9 p.m. on Aug. 2 until 5 a.m. on Aug. 5
  • Beltway 8 North westbound connector ramp to I-45 northbound: total closure from 9 p.m. on Aug. 2 until 5 a.m. on, Aug. 5
  • I-45 North HOV lane: total closure from 9 p.m. on Aug. 2 until 4 a.m. on Aug. 4
  • I-45 North northbound entrance ramp from Greens Road: total closure from 9 p.m. on Aug. 2 until 5 a.m. on Aug. 5
  • I-45 North southbound entrance ramp from Airtex Boulevard: total closure from 9 p.m. on Aug. 2 until 5 a.m. on Aug. 5
  • I-45 North northbound from Greens Road to Airtex Boulevard: multiple alternate lanes closed from 9 p.m. on Aug. 2 until 5 a.m. on Aug. 5
  • I-45 North southbound from Airtex Boulevard to Greens Road: multiple alternate lanes closed from 9 p.m. on Aug. 2 until 5 a.m. on Aug. 5
