Champions School of Real Estate—formerly located at 5627 FM 1960, Ste. 100, Houston—celebrated the grand opening of its new Houston North Campus, located at 7302 N. Grand Parkway W., Spring, on Jan. 18.

According to its website, Champions School of Real Estate first opened in 1983 and offers qualifying education and continuing education classes for real estate professionals, including those pursuing careers in real estate sales, brokerage, mortgage loan origination, home inspection or appraisal. Born and raised in Cypress, Texas, Hannah Zedaker graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in mass communication and a minor in political science. She began as an intern with Community Impact Newspaper in 2015 and was hired upon graduation as a reporter for The Woodlands edition in May 2016. In January 2019, she was promoted to serve as the editor of the Spring/Klein edition where she covers Spring ISD and Harris County Commissioners Court, in addition to business, development and transportation news.
Today, at nearly 100 years old, the cemetery is home to several unmarked graves and serves as the final resting place of former slaves and at least 27 veterans from wars including World War I and World War II.
