Why do you feel you are the best candidate for this position?

TX HD150 remains an unincorporated district with historically underrepresented constituents. Why do you feel you are the best candidate for this position?

In my four terms as your state representative, I’ve helped secure our elections, lowered your property taxes, gotten pay raises for our teachers, prevented the defunding of our local law enforcement and passed fairness in girls’ sports. I've worked hard to keep Texas and our district safe, secure and prosperous.

What do you think are the biggest challenges facing this district?

We need to secure our border and continue building the border wall. We need to keep the power on during natural disasters like Hurricane Beryl. We also need to focus on securing our elections. We need to hold judges and district attorneys accountable for not enforcing the law.

If elected, what would be your top priorities?

I am going to require more preparedness from power and utility companies, keeping our infrastructure secure and functioning. We’re going to work to continue to fund our schools and our teachers. We’re going to continue to build the border wall, prevent de-funding of law enforcement and keep Texans safe.
