What you need to know
Children age 18 and younger and enrolled students with disabilities up to age 21 are eligible for cost-free meals at participating sites Monday through Thursday. Participating sites are listed below.
The summer feeding program is in partnership with the Texas Department of Agriculture. To find other participating meal sites statewide:

A kickoff event is scheduled for June 5 at Klein High School, 16715 Stuebner Airline Road, Klein. Activities for kids—such as facepainting and giveaways—and resources for families will be offered.
Free meals will be offered for children 18 and younger—from 12:30-2 p.m.—while adults can purchase lunch for $5 in cash only. A health fair will be held from 12:30-3 p.m.
On the menu
The menu for the summer feeding program will be different depending on the day, according to KISD’s website. Lunch meal offerings—which are subject to change—will include chicken nuggets and pizza, while breakfast will include kolaches and pancake bites.
