As the school year begins, Klein ISD has debuted its COVID-19 tracking dashboard so community members can stay updated on the number of active cases at each campus, according to a Sept. 16 district update.

The dashboard tracks the number of cases in students and teachers but refers to the cases as "active." A notification of each case will be sent to the staff, teachers and families of that particular school. The dashboard displays only KISD data and will be updated daily at noon.

As of the morning of Sept. 17, eight days after the start of school, the district has 19 active cases, including 15 student cases and four teacher cases.
