Klein ISD has extended its free curbside meal service through July 30, according to a June 25 news release. As previously reported by Community Impact Newspaper, the district offers meal kits to children under the age of 18 on Mondays and Thursdays from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m at the following locations:

  • Klein Annex, 7302 Kleingreen Lane, Spring

  • Hildebrandt Intermediate, 22800 Hildebrandt Road, Spring

  • McDougle Elementary, 10410 Kansack Lane, Houston

  • Strack Intermediate, 18027-S. Kuykendahl Road, Spring

  • Wunderlich Intermediate, 11800 Misty Valley Drive, Houston

  • Klein Cain High School, 10201 Spring Cypress Road, Houston


In addition to snack items, Monday meal kits include one hot lunch, two cold lunches and three cold breakfasts; Thursday meal kits include one hot and cold lunch, two heat-at-home lunches and four cold breakfasts.

Children do not have to be students of KISD but must be 18 and under and present at the distribution site to receive meals. For more information, click here.
