Spring ISD parents and guardians will have until June 29 to complete the district's COVID-19 Parent Survey to provide feedback to assist with planning for the upcoming 2020-21 school year.

Beginning June 24, Spring ISD parents and guardians should have received a unique link to complete the survey via email or text for each student they have enrolled in the district. The district will present the survey results to the district's board of trustees during a special-called board meeting June 30 at 7 p.m., as district officials are still working through COVID-19 planning scenarios.

Parents and guardians who have not yet received a survey link can request one by clicking here, emailing [email protected] or calling 281-891-6337.

Additionally, the district announced via Facebook June 25 that it would be postponing all athletic and performing and visual arts camps as positive COVID-19 case numbers continue to rise in the Greater Houston area.

"Out of an abundance of caution, we have made the decision to postpone all athletic camps due to the rising spread of COVID-19 in our community," the statement reads. "We have been closely monitoring all state and local guidance with regard to COVID-19 and want to be proactive in protecting the health and safety of our students, staff and coaches. Please know we will continue to evaluate changing public health conditions as we determine how and when we may be able to restart these camps."
