Several restaurants have opened their doors in Spring and Klein over the past several weeks. Check out the announcements you may have missed below. This list is not comprehensive.

1. Los Cucos Mexican Cafe reopened Feb. 14 after rebuilding due to a fire destroying the previous building in August 2023. The eatery serves fajitas, nachos, tacos, enchiladas, stuffed avocados, margaritas and other Tex-Mex classics.2. Slice of Venice Pizzeria opened in January. The business offers different types of pizzas, including pepperoni, margherita and meat lovers, and also serves paninis and pasta dishes. It also serves pinsa, an ancient Roman recipe similar to a flatbread pizza, according to the menu.3. Paleteria La Reina opened Dec. 14, owner Monica Manriquez said. The ice cream shop offers handmade ice cream including Mexican fruit popsicles, mangonadas and milkshakes. The eatery also serves Mexican nachos, strawberries and cream, and churro treats.4. Aldanberto’s Mexican restaurant opened in January. The restaurant is open 24/7 and serves breakfast plates, burritos, enchiladas, quesadillas, tacos and more.5. Thai Garlic & Sushi opened in late December. The family-owned restaurant serves Thai, Japanese and Hawaiian dishes, and also offers vegetarian options. Dishes include sushi, poke bowls, curries, seafood and more.6. Brit’s Batch launched a brick-and-mortar Feb. 2 and is holding a grand opening March 8. Owner Britney Ong previously operated through pop-up events and to-go orders. The bakery sells homemade desserts including cookies and cupcakes, breakfast sandwiches and coffee drinks.
